Event Description

Are you curious about design thinking? Hungry to experience it for yourself? Don’t just watch from the sidelines – come give it a try!

On May 7, Treehouse Institute in collaboration with Yona Belfort of Vital Innovation will host “Design Thinking is for Everyone.” A two-hour event where participants will jump into design thinking to solve a real problem in Portland.

What is Design Thinking?

The term refers to a set of principles, from mindset to process, that can be applied to solve complex problems.

Design thinking is generally considered the ability to combine empathy for the context of a problem, creativity in the generation of insights and solutions, and rationality to analyze and fit solutions to the context.
